Learning to love reading with your children – 11.01.19
Reading is a skill for life. Encouraging a love of reading at home can make a huge difference. Lots of help, tips and advice here in the presentation below. Want a good book recommendation? Look on the pupils' page on our website and click on Academic Learning, Champion Reader. Lots of great books to choose from. Get them from the school library or Colindale library. Other book lists below too. Want to help your child more? Ask them lots of questions about what they have read or while you read with them. Need some ideas click below for great question prompts click on the link below.
Handwriting – supporting your children – 18.01.19
Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our hands, we were unable to commit to a coffee morning today. However, as the topic of debate was on handwriting, I am pleased to attach a presentation, which will enable you to support your child with their handwriting. You can also make strong links to Pobble, who are an award winning publishing service and advocate of children’s handwriting.

Homework and Enrichment – 01.02.19
Great turnout today! If you couldn't make it we talked about BYT and how it helps your children with their learning. We discussed homework and how parents can really help their children at home with this. Parents shared some great tips too. We also discussed other types of learning that enrich children and where to access swimming lessons, extra clubs, bike riding lessons etc.
Internet Safety – 08.02.19
